Joshua's Heritage Farm sits on 20 acres where families come to enjoy time together through horses and nature. The family lives on site so your horses are always being watched over and cared for. Our farm is gated and completely fenced to ensure there is never a chance for your horse to get loose, or visited by strangers. A jumper size lit riding arena available to our clients 24/7 irregardless of lessons. Outside of the riding ring we offer acres of trails, fields, and a 90-acre water-front field for our clients to enjoy for hours on end!
Our pastures and paddocks offer seeded fields with 4-board oak fencing. While we understand horses are herd animals, we do not put more than three horses together per pasture or paddock. This is to minimize the probability of injuries caused by other horses, and running around. During the winter months when grass is not as nutritious the fields are supplemented with an orchard, timothy, alfalfa hay blend.
We take great pride in our boarding barn as it was custom built by Jim Griffith Builder, Inc. our barn sits on a foundation, is a full masonry building, and is built with reinforced structures to withstand any storm. Each 12' x 12' stall is equipped with foam mats, thick bed of dustless shavings, heated automatic Nelson waters and feeders, and two fans for the summer time temps! The isle way is brick pavers to reduce slipping of wet hooves, and there are three wash-stalls available equipped with hot/cold water, heating element (inside wash stall), power, and grooming racks. For your tack, we offer a tack room with wood lockers along with access to a washer and dryer for laundry. There's also a lounge for you to enjoy which offers a kitchenette and full bathroom. Just in case you have somewhere to be and need to get rid of that barn smell..haha!
